From Grandkids' Names to Building Legacies: The KBC Construction Story

The roots of KBC Construction trace back to 2013 when Virgil Trotter founded the company. With extensive experience in pipeline work, Virgil's ambition led him to establish his own venture. His skill set encompassed a wide range of craftsmanship needed for complete building construction, complemented by a background in air hydraulics and mechanics. As the company's name was being pondered over in the kitchen one evening, an inspired suggestion from Virgil's daughter-in-law brought about the idea of incorporating the first letters of his grandchildren's names – Keaton, Braydon, and Camdyn – resulting in the name "KBC."

In partnership with one of Virgil's sons, KBC Construction embarked on its journey with small-scale projects, gradually expanding its scope. From constructing metal buildings to home remodels, fence installations, and other assorted tasks, the company grew steadily. However, retaining a reliable workforce posed a challenge, eventually leading Virgil to move on to another venture while entrusting his son Nick Trotter to continue the KBC legacy.

Years later, in 2021, the company evolved into "Keep Building Construction," while preserving the original KBC logo. This transformation marked a broadening of services, encompassing not just construction, but also roofing and machinery mechanics. Virgil Trotter's presence continues to be influential, as he collaborates closely with his sons Nick and Eric Trotter, solidifying the business's familial essence.

Being a family-owned enterprise, Keep Building Construction is deeply rooted in the value of tending to their community while upholding a strong work ethic. The journey, from modest beginnings to its present form, underscores KBC's commitment to its neighbors and the principles of integrity and diligence.
